WHO ARE WE
Located on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, Konsortium Pelabuhan Kemaman Sdn Bhd (KPK) operates the terminals of the port of Kemaman namely, the East Wharf (EW) and the Liquid Chemical Berth (LCB). With a Maximum Draught of 16.4M, port of Kemaman is one of the deepest seaports in Malaysia and a fast emerging port acting as the new gateway to the Asia Pacific region.

As a deepsea all-weather port operating all year round, it is capable of handling Cape-size vessels with various types of cargo ranging from break bulk, dry bulk to liquid bulk.
INFRASTRUCTURE
About the terminals:
The East Wharf (EW) has a quay length of 648 metres and a maximum draught of 16.4 metres. With a berth capacity of 6.85 million tonnes per year, it can handle vessels of up to 150,000 deadweight tonnage (DWT) transporting various types of cargoes. This includes dry bulk (Iron Ore, Ilmenite Ore, Sulphur, Met Coke, BF Slag, Bauxite, Raw Sugar, Solar Salt), liquid bulk (Sulphuric Acid), and breakbulk (Steel Pipes, Steel Billet, Steel Slab). Supporting its transhipment activities are two (2) warehousing facilities (5,000 m2 each), open storage areas (4 hectares), and a concrete yard (1 hectare).

The Liquid Chemical Berth (LCB) is a specialised terminal that handles liquid chemical cargo. Its facilities cater to the needs of chemical-related industries with a 320-metre long berth and Maximum draft 16.4 metres. The capacity is 2.6 million tonnes per year; capable of accommodating vessels of up to 150,000 DWT.

Additionally, it houses pipe racks for 50 pipelines (of 8-12"") and 6 marine loading arms, complete with safety features such as fully-equipped firefighting facilities.
SERVICES
KPK is able to provide the following services reliably, efficiently, and at competitive rates:
1. Port Navigation Control
Full control of navigational activities within the Kemaman Port limits.
2. Marine Services
Efficient pilotage and towage services, as well as mooring/unmooring services for berthing/unberthing of vessels.
3. Cargo Handling Services
Loading, unloading, lashing, receiving, and delivering various types of cargoes including general cargo, break bulk , dry bulk and liquid bulk.
4. Stevedoring Services
Stevedoring services for general cargo, dry bulk cargo and break bulk cargo handling.
5. Storage Services
With two warehouse units located in a Bonded Area under Customs license (5,000 square metres), an open yard (4 hectares), and concrete yard (1 hectares).
6. Crane Services
Wharf crane is available to handle dry bulk and breakbulk cargo. while mobile crane ranging from 25 tonnes to 500 tonnes of lifting capacity are available to handle special and heavy lifting cargo.
7. Fire Fighter Services
Fire fighter services for fire standby and hazardous cargo.
