WHO ARE WE
Incorporated in 2016, EPIC Solar Sdn. Bhd. (formerly Eastern Pacific GD Solar Sdn. Bhd.) specializes in Solar Photovoltaic (PV) technology for Malaysia's East Coast Region.
Eastern Pacific GD Solar Sdn. Bhd. originally participated in the RFQ process under a consortium consisting of EPIC Berhad and MIE Industrial Sdn. Bhd. It was then incorporated in September 2016 before signing a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in March 2017. In 2018, the company came to be known as EPIC Solar Sdn. Bhd. and its solar power plant was fully-operational from the Commercial Operation Date (COD) of the 23rd March 2018.
Through company's strategic research and planning efforts, the plant was successfully developed on a 28-hectare site in Teluk Kalong Industrial Area and employs the use of fully-sustainable green technologies. The 18.5 megawatts (MW) of power generated by the plant is transferred directly to Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) through the national grid system. These activities are demonstrative of EPIC Berhad's diversifying beyond oil & gas business.
