RENEWABLE ENERGY & GREEN TECHNOLOGY
SERVICES
The solar power allows us to deliver electricity including providing maintenance of DC Cable, Inverter, Transformer and other accompanying services.
EPIC Solar has the capability for turnkey or joint-venture project management services for renewable energy and green technology
EPIC Solar is able to provide consultancy services to companies interested in venturing into the renewable energy and green technology sector
EPIC Solar is able to supply Solar Panel Cleaning System and Solar Powered Streetlights
As its primary activity, EPIC Solar supplies 18.5MW of electricity directly to TNB through the national grid, thanks to the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed between both organizations in 2017.
In order to maximize the production of electricity using solar panels, the surface of the panels themselves need to be physically inspected, maintained, and cleaned periodically.
DC cables transmitting electricity, along with all connections as well as voltage and current flows need to be physically inspected and maintained to ensure optimal operations.
DCCB and Earth Chambers serve to combine PV solar cable and DC protection. These items need to be physically inspected and maintained along with all their connections and to trace any possible leakages.
Inverters convert the DC system (1000V) to a 3 phase AC system (360V). Like all others, this type of equipment requires physical inspection and maintenance, but also requires software and power electronics inspections as well.
Transformers are used to step up Low Voltage (360V) to High Voltage (33kV). This also requires a physical inspection to be done by competent persons only and includes inspection of the transformer's temperature and transformer oil as well.
The Ring Main Unit (RMU) serves to protect, isolate, and connect all 33kV equipment. Maintenance of this unit requires inspections of its indicators, its system, and an overall physical inspection of the unit itself.
These activities allow for the management, operation, control and monitoring of all activities taking place on the solar farm.
