PORT MANAGEMENT
SERVICES
Port terminals under our management consist of East Wharf (EW) and Liquid Chemical Berth (LCB) terminals. EW handles break bulk, dry bulk and steel product whereas LCB specialises in handling liquid bulk and supporting offshore oil and gas activities. The West Wharf possesses similar services as EW and also specialised services distinctively. Below are the services offered by our port terminals:
1. Port Navigation Control
Full control of navigational activities within the Kemaman Port limits.
2. Marine Services
Efficient pilotage and towage services, as well as mooring/unmooring services for berthing/unberthing of vessels.
3. Cargo Handling
In supporting local industries, we help with the loading, unloading, lashing, receiving and delivering various types of cargoes. These cargoes include break bulk, dry bulk, general cargo and the raw materials used by steel industries as well as various grades of Bitumen, Atmospheric Gas Oil (AGO), Vacuum Gas Oil (VGO), Crude Oil, Kerosene, Naphtha, Fuel Oil, Oil Base Mud, Brine and Base Oil.
4. Stevedoring services
Stevedoring services for general, liquid bulk, dry bulk and break bulk cargoes handling.
5. Storage Services
Consists of two warehouses located in a Bonded Area under Customs license (5,000 square meters per unit), 9-hectare open yard, and 1-hectare concrete yard.
6. Fire Fighter Services
Fire fighter services for fire standby and hazardous cargo handling.
7. Berthing/Unberthing Services
Specifically tailored to cargo vessels, Offshore Supply Vessels (OSV) and Offshore Drilling Rigs.
8. Port Safety & Security
Safety and security services in full compliance with the International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) Code.
9. Ancillary Services
Providing other supporting services including freshwater supply, fuel supply, and the supply of necessary manpower and also garbage removal.
