“Majlis Pelancaran Dasar Dan Pelan di Bawah Portfolio Ekonomi Digital, Pendapatan Baharu, Perdagangan, Perindustrian Dan Teknologi Hijau” has successfully convened at the Convention Hall, Taman Tamadun Islam, Kuala Terengganu. Officiated by Terengganu Menteri Besar YAB Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, the initiative introduces a new framework to drive economic growth, aligned with technological advancements, investment priorities, and sustainability goals.

Also presence at the event were State Secretary YB Dato’ Nara Setia; State Financial Officer YB Dato' Haji Mohd Azmi Mohamad Daham; Digital Economy, New Revenue, Trade, Industry and Green Technology Committee Chairman YB Haji Mohd Nurkhuzaini Ab. Rahman along with state leaders; agency heads; and industry representatives.

EPIC Berhad Group Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili, moderated the forum “Shaping the Future of Terengganu’s Investment”, which explored high-impact opportunities in oil and gas, digital technology, and renewable energy. Panellists included Terengganu Strategic & Integrity Institute (TSIS) Principal Consultant Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Hanif Yaacob, Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Services Development Executive Director Puan Zuaida Abdullah, and Centre for Offshore Renewable Energy (CEFORE) UMT-PETRONAS Project Head Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Hairil Mohd.

This new policy and plan set a firm foundation for strengthening Terengganu’s position in future-focused strategic sectors. Collaboration between industry, government, and research institutions is expected to open new economic opportunities, expand markets, and boost the state’s role in sustainable energy and green technology.
