This project is seen as a critical solution for Renewable Energy (RE) in addressing the challenges of electricity supply, especially in remote rural areas.
As for the proposed cooperation in the management, operation and maintenance of the terminal by EPIC Berhad being a Terengganu government-related company (GLC), it is seen as a strategic step towards economic empowerment not only for the organisations involved but also local communities, through employment opportunities offering and technical skills sharing.
