EPIC Berhad, through its subsidiary EPIC OG Sdn Bhd (EPIC OG), has entered into a collaboration agreement in relation to the provision of project management services with Begas Energy Sdn Bhd (Begas Energy) for the Terminal Turnaround, Maintenance, and Modification (TTAMM) contract in Sabah. The agreement was formalised in a ceremony held at Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu, marking another milestone in strengthening the Group’s presence within Malaysia’s downstream and terminal services segment, particularly in East Malaysia.

Under the collaboration agreement, EPIC OG will deliver joint project management services covering the technical advisory for the terminal turnaround activities, routine and preventive maintenance, as well as modification works. The scope is designed to uphold asset integrity and enhance operational reliability in strict adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and health, safety and environment (HSE) best practices.

During the signing, EPIC OG was represented by Group Chief Executive Officer of EPIC Berhad, Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili, and General Manager for Energies of EPIC Berhad, Haji Mohamad Irwan Abdul. Begas Energy, on the other hand, was represented by its Managing Director, Haji Mohd Safian Saludin, and Operations Manager, Encik Shahlan Rusian. EPIC OG Chairman, YB Datuk Che Mohamad Zulkifly Jusoh, witnessed the ceremony alongside other members of EPIC OG’s Board of Directors.

By combining EPIC OG’s expertise in project management and integrated oil and gas support services with Begas Energy’s operational strengths, the partnership is poised to deliver structured, efficient and high-quality execution of the TTAMM contract.

In addition to ensuring effective project delivery, this collaboration supports EPIC Berhad’s broader strategy to expand its presence in terminal operations and maintenance services, while contributing to the long-term sustainability and resilience of Sabah’s energy sector and Malaysia’s overall oil and gas industry.
