EPIC Group is pleased to take part in the National Training Week (NTW) - an initiative spearheaded by the Human Resource Ministry and coordinated by the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) to reskill and upskill the workforce in the country through nationwide training events and activities that brought together organisations and individuals from various backgrounds and industries - which took place from 22 May to 28 May 2023.
Some notable mentions included the ASEAN Green Hydrogen Conference, attended by EPIC Group Chief Executive Officer Encik Ridzuan Ali, Group Chief Operating Officer Haji Muhtar Suhaili, and EPIC Solar Sdn Bhd (ESSB) General Manager Encik Fuaad Mohamed Nawawi; as well as three internal training programmes namely the “ISO Integrated Internal Auditor”, “Rigging and Sligging” and “Dealing with Difficult People”; and one external training, the “Kursus Budaya Kesegeraan Dalam Bekerja (Sence of Urgency)”, involving a total of 75 employees across EPIC Group.
In further echoing its support for the NTW, EPIC, through its dedicated Human Resources team, was involved a few sharing sessions to enhance skills, unlock potential, and foster transformative growth among our future workforce. EPIC Training and Staffing Manager Puan Rozita Muhammad, alongside her team members, empowered students from Kolej Kemahiran Tinggi Mara (KKTM) and Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) with impactful industry knowledge and career insights, helping them to navigate their first few steps in the shoes of working professionals upon graduation.
