The month of October and the pink ribbon are synonymous with the breast cancer awareness campaign. To show support for this cause, EPIC Berhad had organised the 'PINKTober Visit 2023' programme, one of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, in the hope of uplifting breast cancer fighters at the Day Care Surgical Centre of Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah (HSNZ), Kuala Terengganu.

At the visit, EPIC Berhad’s delegation led by Group Corporate Communication and Security General Manager Encik Rusdi Ngah and Group Human Resources and Administration General Manager Haji Mohd Sukeri Muhammad was warmly greeted by HSNZ Deputy Medical Director Dr. Dzawati Amalin Basemin and HSNZ Head of Surgical Department Dr. Nor Hisham Muda.

In addition to breast cancer experience sharing, the company’s delegates had the opportunity to distribute fruit baskets and cupcakes, symbolic gestures of moral support, to patients undergoing treatment as well as to the hardworking hospital staff who have been working hard in providing support to these brave fighters. At the end of the visit, EPIC Berhad also presented a small contribution to the Day Care Surgical Centre to help raise awareness about the disease.
