Continuing its tradition of caring for the community, EPIC Berhad today organised the Jalinan Kasih Ramadan 2026 programme, celebrating 140 asnaf children from Kuala Terengganu at Jakel Textile Store Gong Badak. Held in collaboration with Jakel Trading Sdn Bhd (Jakel Trading) Gong Badak, the programme was graced by Kuala Terengganu Parliament Member and EPIC Berhad Director, YB Datuk Haji Ahmad Amzad Hashim Mohamed @ Hashim.

Jalinan Kasih Ramadan is part of EPIC Berhad’s community engagement initiatives, consistently implemented every year, particularly in the lead-up to Aidilfitri. This year’s programme benefited a total of 210 asnaf children aged between six and 11 from two districts, namely Kemaman and Kuala Terengganu, with an overall allocation of RM60,000.

During the event at Jakel Textile Store Gong Badak, each child received a complete set of raya attire, baju Melayu with sampin for boys and baju kurung for girls, in addition to duit raya and hampers as as tokens ahead of the Aidilfitri celebration. The support and special discounts extended by Jakel Trading Gong Badak enabled the assistance to be delivered more effectively and systematically.

As an organisation that consistently prioritises community well-being, EPIC Berhad has allocated approximately RM3.45 million to implement various CSR initiatives throughout 2026. Of this amount, more than RM160,000 has been specifically channelled towards programmes and activities during the month of Ramadan involving employees and the local community. This allocation excludes additional contributions and sponsorships to eligible organisations, reflecting the Group’s ongoing commitment to supporting those in need and strengthening the spirit of togetherness during this blessed month.
