EPIC Berhad has organized two series of programs "Jalinan Kasih Ramadan 2024" to assist selected asnaf children from Kemaman and Kuala Terengganu. The programs are part of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at helping communities in need, especially asnaf groups, in welcoming the Ramadan month and celebrating the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

The Jalinan Kasih Ramadan 2024 programme involves 170 asnaf children from two districts, Kuala Terengganu and Kemaman, with a total cost of approximately RM50,000. At the event, EPIC Berhad presented clothing vouchers and Eid money to the asnaf children present to help them prepare for Aidilfitri and celebrate with an iftar gathering.

The donation session was officiated by ADUN Chukai and Pangkalan Bekalan Kemaman Sdn Bhd (PBKSB) Chairman YB Haji Hanafiah Mat and YBhg. Ustaz Hazri Jusoh, Special Officer Parliament of Kemaman YBhg Ustaz Hazri Jusoh, along with Group Chief Executive Officer Encik Ridzuan Ali, Group Chief Operating Officer Haji Muhtar Suhaili, Group Chief Financial Officer Encik Wan Mohd Azilah Wan Abdullah. YB Haji Hanafiah, who also delivered a speech at the second program session, welcomed EPIC Berhad's efforts to share blessings to ensure that asnaf children do not miss out on celebrating the joy of Ramadan and the upcoming Aidilfitri celebration. Also present at the event were the management team of the EPIC Group, as well as representatives from the Chukai State Assembly Office (DUN) and the Kemaman Orphan Care Organization.

EPIC Berhad has allocated more than RM120,000 for CSR programs in addition to various contributions and sponsorships to qualified organizations throughout the Ramadan month. The company remains committed to achieving a balance in business and not only focusing on generating profits but also contributing and adding value to the community, especially in the state of Terengganu.
