EPIC Berhad and Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) have teamed up to lead and support the successful rollout of National Training Week 2025 (NTW 2025) in Terengganu.
NTW is a large-scale national initiative spearheaded by HRD Corp aimed at expanding access to training and skills development for all segments of society. Anchored by the theme “Learning Beyond Borders”, the initiative focuses on five key pillars, namely Life Skills, Future Skills, Creativity and Innovation, Financial Literacy, and Sustainable Development.
In support of this initiative, EPIC Berhad has curated a series of engaging programmes to promote lifelong learning, including the Learn-A-Thon Fun Run, High Impact Training, and Human Resources Week 2025 (HR Week 2025).
The High Impact Training was officiated today through a ceremony held at EPIC Berhad’s operational premises in Teluk Kalong, Kemaman, by State Infrastructure, Utilities, and Rural Development Committee Chairman YB Dato’ Haji Hanafiah Mat, on behalf the Menteri Besar of Terengganu. Also present were Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili, Group Chief Executive Officer of EPIC Berhad, and Encik Muhamad Hafez Kamaruddin, Head of Regional Operations Division.
Kicking off the series of engaging programmes, the Learn-A-Thon Fun Run held last Saturday drew more than 1,000 participants from diverse backgrounds.
HR Week 2025, on the other hand, will feature a structured training platform featuring both technical and soft skills development, career talks, and engagement sessions with agencies such as the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), the Social Security Organisation (SOCSO), and local authorities.
This strategic partnership between EPIC Berhad and HRD Corp reinforces both parties’ shared commitment to nurturing talent and building a dynamic, inclusive, and sustainable learning ecosystem. It also underscores the proactive role of the corporate sector in supporting the national agenda to build a competitive, knowledge-driven nation.
