In a continuous effort to strengthen capabilities in the renewable energy industry, EPIC Berhad along with its subsidiary EPIC Solar Sdn Bhd (ESSB), paid a courtesy visit to the Energy Commission of Malaysia earlier today. The visit was led by EPIC Group Chief Operating Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili; EPIC Group Chief Financial Officer Encik Wan Azilah Wan Abdullah; General Manager Business Development Encik Atiaullah Raslan; and Head of Company ESSB Encik Azman Muda was warmly welcomed by Energy Commission Chief Executive Officer YBhg. Dato' Ir. Ts. Abdul Razib Dawood.
This visit provided an opportunity for discussion that could help the company improve operations and remain competitive, particularly in the renewable energy sector. The solar farm operated by ESSB since 2018 covers azn area of 76 acres with 15 clusters of panels located in Teluk Kalong and generate energy with a capacity of 18.5 MW. ESSB is currently planning to further expand its business network by developing its existing capacity to Large Scale Solar 5 (LSS5).
The company hopes to improve operations and thereby strengthen its position as a leading player in the renewable energy industry, especially in the east coast region.
