EPIC Berhad continued its strategic engagement efforts last Monday by welcoming the “I Care Visit” from Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM), PETRONAS. Led by Head of Production Management and Operations, Ir. Ts. Haji Mazri Mohd Ali, the delegation visited the Group’s operational facilities in Teluk Kalong, Kemaman.

Group Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili, welcomed the delegation. Also present were Tuan Haji Mohd Muslim Jusoh, Head of Production Delivery – Peninsular Malaysia, along with members of the senior management teams from both organisations.

Proceedings commenced with a bilateral discussion focused on current operational performance and the Group’s strategic priorities, with particular emphasis on the HSSEQ agenda and the progress of key ongoing projects. The session provided an avenue to exchange insights on strengthening operational governance, reinforcing compliance with industry standards, and sustaining best practices in line with regulatory expectations.

Site visits followed at the Finger Jetty, Kemaman Supply Base, EPIC Solar Sdn Bhd and EPIC OG Sdn Bhd’s yard, allowing the delegation to observe infrastructure capabilities, assess operational readiness, and review the implementation of HSSEQ practices on the ground.
