Struck by the profound suffering endured by communities in Aceh in the wake of the catastrophic floods, EPIC Berhad, together with companies under the Terengganu Inc Group, has risen in solidarity to support the “Tabung Bencana Terengganu: Air Mata Aceh”. This cross-border humanitarian and corporate CSR initiative, spearheaded by the Terengganu State Government through Urusetia Belia, Sukan dan NGO Terengganu Sejahtera (UBSNT), aims to raise RM1.0 million from 5 to 28 February 2026 to assist thousands of affected families whose lives were upended, having lost their homes, possessions, and sense of security to the unforgiving force of nature.

The fund was officially launched earlier today at Wisma Darul Iman, Kuala Terengganu, by Terengganu State Secretary, YB Dato’ Haji Mohd Azmi Mohamad Daham, representing Terengganu Menteri Besar, YAB Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar. Also in attendance were State Legal Advisor, YB Mohd Nawawi Ismail; Youth, Sports, and NGO Development Committee Chairman, YB Ustaz Haji Hishamuddin Abdul Karim; and UBSNT Director, Encik Muhammad Irsyad Syafiq Burhanuddin.

As at the launch, companies under the Terengganu Inc Group had collectively raised RM101,000.00, an encouraging milestone that reflects the shared responsibility and solidarity demonstrated by the state’s corporate sector in responding to humanitarian needs beyond national borders. Representing EPIC Berhad during the contribution handover was Corporate Communication and HSSEQ General Manager, Encik Rusdi Ngah.

Through this contribution, the Group hopes to support ongoing relief efforts, accelerate recovery initiatives, and contribute towards the restoration of critical infrastructure, ultimately easing the burden borne by affected families and rekindling hope within the communities. In this moment of profound hardship, all of us at EPIC Berhad stand united in prayer, hoping that those affected are granted strength, resilience, and fortitude as they rise above adversity and rebuild their lives.
