EPIC Berhad today wrapped up its first series of the "EPIC Back to School 2024" programme involving 50 students from Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Mentok to assist them in preparing for the new school term starting next month. This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, a longstanding annual tradition, underscores the company's commitment to fostering sustainable development of Terengganu’s education sector.
 
Participating in the back-to-school program were PBK Supplies & Services Sdn Bhd and EPIC Solar Sdn Bhd Director Ustaz Hazri Jusoh as well as EPIC Group Management Committee – EPIC Group Chief Operating Officer Haji Muhtar Suhaili and EPIC Group Chief Financial Officer Encik Wan Mohd Azilah Wan Abdullah.
 
For the "EPIC Back to School 2023" at SK Getang, 50 students were chosen to receive essential school supplies. Each of them received vouchers for school uniforms and shoes, stationery, a lunch box, and a backpack. Additionally, the participating students had the opportunity to tour EPIC Berhad's operational premises in Kemaman and engage in various interactive activities organised by the company.
 
Also in attendance were EPIC Group Corporate Communication and Security General Manager Encik Rusdi Ngah, Kemaman Assistant District Education Officer Encik Rozali Salleh and SK Bukit Mentok Principal Encik Dzulkifli Haji Yahya.
 
During the same programme, EPIC Berhad also extended a monetary donation to SK Bukit Mentok to support the school's activities and maintenance, particularly in light of the recent floods that affected the school.
