EPIC Berhad has further reiterated its support for the local education scene by becoming one of the sponsors for the YT-TI Young Talent Scholarship Programme 2023. This scholarship initiative is a collaborative effort by the Terengganu Inc Group with Yayasan Terengganu, aimed at fostering educational opportunities for qualified students from the state as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pledges.

The combined commitment from EPIC Berhad and other participating companies under the Group – TDM Berhad, Golden Pharos Berhad, Ladang Rakyat Trengganu Sdn Bhd and PTB Group – which totals to RM500,000 was formalised at an agreement signing ceremony in the presence of State Shariah Implementation, Education and Higher Education Committee Chairman YB Ustaz Dato' Satiful Bahari Mamat, who represented the Terengganu Menteri Besar at Wisma Darul Iman earlier today. Other notable attendees included Terengganu State Secretary YBM Tengku Seri Bijaya Raja, State Legal Advisor YB Dato’ Razali Che Ani, and MMKN members. Representing EPIC Berhad to ink the agreement was Group Chief Executive Officer Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili.

The same ceremony also celebrated 10 scholarship recipients enrolling for local degree programmes with specialisation in fields such as Legislation, Muamalat Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistical Science, Environmental Management, Business Administration and Agricultural Technology. Through this effort, we hope to contribute to the betterment of the local community through strategic educational investments, developing first-class human capital - an investment for the future workforce that will drive sustainable progress.
