EPIC Berhad, through its subsidiary, EPIC OG Sdn Bhd (EOGSB), has secured a five-year contract from PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PETRONAS Carigali), a wholly owned subsidiary of PETRONAS. The contract covers the provision of Pan Malaysia Maintenance, Commissioning, and Modification (MCM) and Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) services for Package A2 – (Peninsular Malaysia Asset (PMA) – Gas).

This achievement establishes EOGSB as a trusted service provider, reinforcing its role in supporting PETRONAS Carigali asset reliability and operational efficiency across Peninsular Malaysia to meet both current and future energy demands. The contract is set to run for five years until September 2029, with an option for three years extension, followed by another subsequent two-year term, positioning EOGSB for continued growth and long-term collaboration within the national oil and gas sector.

EOGSB has a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex oil and gas maintenance projects. The company previously bagged the Pan Malaysia Maintenance, Construction, and Modification (PM-MCM) contract for Package B2 from ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc (EMEPMI). Valued at RM500 million, this six-year contract – comprising five years with a one-year extension – commenced on 17 July 2018 and concluded on 31 December 2024.

In addition to this major contract, EOGSB has recently been appointed as a panel contractor for PETRONAS’ Downstream Operating Units under the Provision of Panel Contractors for Construction and Modifications Works (CMW). This three-year contract, with potential extensions of one year and another year thereafter, covers the East Coast, West Coast, and Southern regions of Malaysia. The appointment further demonstrates the company’s capabilities to efficiently manage such high-value projects across multiple regional operations.

With these recent contracts wins, EPIC Berhad is strategically primed to further solidify its presence within Malaysia's energy landscape and reinforcing the nation’s energy security.
