EPIC Berhad was awarded the Productivity-Linked Wage System (PLWS) certificate by the Malaysian Department of Industrial Relations during the “Majlis Perasmian Seminar Keharmonian Perusahaan Negeri Pahang Tahun 2024”, held at the Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan Hotel yesterday.

The recognition was presented by Head Director Malaysian Department of Industrial Relations Encik Khalid Jali representing Deputy Minister of Human Resources YB Dato’ Sri Abdul Rahman Mohamad to EPIC Group Chief Financial Officer, Encik Wan Mohd Azilah Wan Abdullah, accompanied by General Manager Human Resources and Administration Haji Mohd Sukeri Muhammad.

The company under the Human Resource and Administration Department has been participating in the initiative since 2023 and has successfully completed the entire module and implementation of a flexible and more competitive wage system within the EPIC Group. Six companies from the East Coast Region were also listed for recognition for their success in adhering to guidelines and implementing productivity-based wage systems, also known as the Productivity-Linked Wage System (PLWS).
