Food hygiene and safety continue to be a core priority across the Group’s premises, with all food operators maintaining high standards of cleanliness and full compliance with established requirements. This sustained commitment has enabled EPIC Berhad to receive the Clean and Safe (BeSS) Certification from the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH).

The certification was presented by YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Wan Abdul Rahim Wan Muhammad, Director of the Terengganu State Health Department, to Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili, Group Chief Executive Officer of EPIC Berhad, at a ceremony held in Teluk Kalong, Kemaman. At the same event, food operators at EPIC Café were also presented with certificates in recognition of their compliance with the required standards.

Also present were Acting Group Chief Financial Officer, Puan Suhana Kamaludin; Deputy Director of Health (Food Safety and Quality), Puan Zaini Abdul Rahman; and Kemaman District Health Officer, Dr. Mohd Shafik Abd Majid.

This recognition is hoped to further strengthen a workplace culture that places strong emphasis on safety among employees, in line with EPIC Berhad’s ongoing commitment to delivering quality services and maintaining clean and well-managed facilities for business partners, Kemaman Port community, and visitors.
