EPIC Berhad is honoured to serve as a sponsor and strategic partner of the "Majlis Tilawah dan Hafazan Al-Quran Peringkat Kebangsaan (MTHQK) 1447/2026", in continued support of national efforts to uphold Islamic scholarship and preserve the nation’s spiritual heritage. This year’s edition, hosted in Terengganu, further affirms the state’s position as a key centre for the advancement of Islamic knowledge in Malaysia.

The opening ceremony at the Stadium Tertutup Kompleks Sukan Negeri Terengganu was officiated by the Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Also in attendance were Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), YB Senator Dr. Zulkifli Hasan; Communications Minister, YB Datuk Ahmad Fahmi Mohamed Fadzil, Terengganu Menteri Besar, YAB Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar; Terengganu State Secretary, YB Dato’ Haji Mohd Azmi Mohamad Daham; State Executive Council Members; and Group Chief Executive Officer of EPIC Berhad, Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili.

Now in its 68th edition, MTHQK runs until 18 April under the theme “Kalam Ilahi, Tradisi Diwarisi”, bringing together 108 participants from across the country. The programme showcases the beauty of Quranic recitation while reflecting the continuity of a scholarly tradition that continues to be preserved and strengthened across generations, in line with the aspiration of nurturing a society grounded in values, knowledge, and spiritual depth.
