EPIC Berhad last Thursday organised two programmes, held in conjunction with the month of Zulhijjah, specifically to welcome the Hari Raya Aidiladha occasion.

The first event, titled 'Ceramah Penghayatan Ibadah Korban dan Penyembelihan Binatang Sempena Hari Raya Aidiladha 2024', was held at its operational premises in Kemaman. It featured insightful talks by by Terengganu Menteri Besar Office Research Officer, Ustaz Azman Syafawi Abdul Rani, and Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Negeri Terengganu (JHEAT) Islamic Affairs (Enforcement & Monitoring) Assistant Officer, Encik Mohd Zakri Zamani Salleh. The session, attended by 70 employees across the Group, was also supported by JHEAT Training Unit, Kijal DUN Community Service Center, and Kemaman DUAT Academy.

Concurrently, EPIC Berhad launched a meaningful corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative - the 'Sumbangan Lembu Korban Kepada Masyarakat'. Under this initiative, the Group donated 15 cows to selected mosques for the purpose of sacrificial offerings. The Qurbani meat from these animals will be distributed among the local community, with a specific focus on assisting the underprivileged and those in need.
