EPIC Berhad Organises Basic Life Support Training to Enhance Emergency Preparedness

EPIC Berhad, in collaboration with Kemaman District Health Office, recently organised a Basic Life Support course at the EPIC Excellence Learning Centre. This initiative serves as a strategic effort to strengthen collaboration among various government agencies, including the Royal Malaysia Police, Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Malaysian Immigration Department, and Malaysian Marine Department in Terengganu, with a focus not only on border and operational safety but also on saving lives. The course aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and basic life-saving skills, particularly in emergency situations.

A total of 30 participants from various agencies took part, including Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency Commander Tuan Azlan Musa, Customs Assistant Director Puan Tanya Archwamety, Internal Security and Public Order Department Head of Kemaman District Police Headquarters DSP Tuan Norzaini, Assistant Marine Officer of Malaysian Marine Department Encik Mohd Shamir Hailmie Rosli, EPIC Berhad Security Manager DSP/PB Mohd Azril Aliff Jusoh, Security Manager of EPIC Berhad Auxiliary Police; along with other EPIC Berhad Auxiliary Police personnel.

Corporate Communication and HSSEQ General Manager, Encik Rusdi Ngah, officiated the closing ceremony alongside Kemaman District Health Officer, Dr. Mohd Shafik Abd Majid.

EPIC Berhad extends its appreciation to all parties involved and hopes the skills acquired will be applied to provide immediate assistance and save lives, in line with the principle that life-saving knowledge is a shared responsibility.
