EPIC Berhad last Friday had the honor of participating in a visit by the Terengganu State Government to Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd (MRL) Chief Executive Officer YBhg. Dato’ Sri Darwis Abdul Razak at his Kuala Lumpur office. The delegation was led Terengganu Deputy State Secretary (Development) and Terengganu Economic Planning Unit Director YBhg. Dato’ Tun Ahmad Faisal Tun Abdul Razak.
Also present were Terengganu Inc President and Group Chief Executive Officer Haji Burhanuddin Hilmi Mohamed @ Harun, and Lembaga Pelabuhan Kemaman Senior Manager Encik Mohd Idi Amin Salleh. Representing EPIC Berhad were Group Chief Executive Officer Encik Ridzuan Ali, Group Chief Operating Officer Haji Muhtar Suhaili alongside its management team.
The visit aimed to discuss the ongoing progress of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project, focusing on the "Kemaman ECRL Spurline," a crucial intersection leading to the Kemaman Port. The ECRL Project traverses four states: Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, and Selangor. Notably, the Terengganu section has achieved significant advancement, currently standing at an impressive 82% completion status.
