EPIC Berhad has pledged its support for the “Himpunan Ibu Tunggal (HIT) 2023”, a state-wide corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme organised by the Welfare, Women and Family Development, and National Unity Committee in collaboration with the Urus Setia Wanita Terengganu which aimed at supporting and uplifting single mothers by providing them with much-needed assistance. This CSR drive is also shouldered by other members of Terengganu Inc Group, rallying together to positively impact the lives of single mothers in Terengganu.

As part of the pledge, the Group attended the “Himpunan Ibu Tunggal Peringkat Daerah Kemaman” at the Dewan Berlian, Majlis Perbandaran Kemaman. This session was graced by Air Putih ADUN YB Cikgu Haji Ab. Razak Ibrahim and Kemasik ADUN YB Ir. Saiful Azmi Suhaili. Representing EPIC Berhad at the event were Security Manager Encik Mohd Azril Aliff Jusoh and Corporate Communication Manager Encik Mohd Hakimi Samsudin.

All 400 selected single mothers from Kemaman’s four DUNs – Air Putih, Chukai, Kemasik, and Kijal - were provided with a one-off cash voucher at the event to help alleviate some of the financial burdens they faced daily.
