His Royal Highness Yang di-Pertuan Muda of Terengganu, Tengku Muhammad Ismail Ibni Al-Wathiqu Billah Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, accompanied by His Highness Tengku Sri Setia Mahkota Raja, Tengku Muhammad Mua’az Ibni Al-Wathiqu Billah Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, graciously honoured EPIC Berhad with a visit to its operational premises in Teluk Kalong, as part of HRH’s official administrative tour of the Kemaman District.
The royal delegation was warmly welcome by Deputy State Secretary (Management) and Director of Terengganu State Economic Planning Unit (UPEN), YBhg. Dato’ Rosli Latif; District Officer of Kemaman, Tuan Haji Ahmad Nazwawi Harun; President of Kemaman Municipal Council, Encik Fadli Yusof Haji Zakaria; General Manager of Kemaman Port Authority (LPKmn), Puan Hasnita Mohd Hanapiah; President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Terengganu Inc, YBhg. Dato’ Haji Burhanuddin Hilmi Mohamed @ Harun; and Group Chief Executive Officer of EPIC Berhad, Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili.
The visit commenced with a briefing by YBhg. Dato’ Rosli Latif, followed by a presentation from Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili on the operations of Kemaman Port and EPIC Berhad’s strategic role in the development of the local oil and gas industry. He also shared insights on the Group’s role in managing Kemaman’s key logistics and industrial hub that supports infrastructure advancement and economic growth in the district.
HRH the Yang Di-Pertuan Muda of Terengganu then proceeded on a boat tour led by Port Management and Marine Services General Manager of EPIC Berhad, Capt. Mohd Kamarul Mamat, providing an opportunity to observe the port’s operational areas and facilities firsthand. The visit highlighted the Group’s commitment to efficient, safe, and sustainable port operations.
