EPIC Berhad, together with its subsidiary Eastern Pacific Marine Services Sdn Bhd (EPMSSB), engaged in an official working visit to Türkiye to explore potential strategic collaborations and gain valuable insights to enhance the Group’s service offerings.

The delegation included President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Terengganu Inc, YBhg. Dato’ Haji Burhanuddin Hilmi Mohamed @ Harun; Directors of EPIC Berhad, YB Datuk Haji Ahmad Amzad Mohamed @ Hashim and YB Ir. Ts. Haji Khairil Nizam Khirudin; and GCEO of EPIC Berhad, Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili. They were also joined by Investment Director of MIDA Istanbul, Encik Shahzul Jayawirawan Mohd Yunus; Engineering and Special Projects General Manager of EPIC Berhad, Dr. Haji Abdullah Abdul Ghani; and Project and Liaison Manager of EPMSSB, Encik Muhammad Nadzri Ibrahim.

A key highlight of the visit was an engagement with BMS Gemi Geri Dönüşüm San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (BMS Gemi Söküm), a company specialising in ship dismantling and disposal services. The delegation was welcomed by Head of International Trade, Ridvan Onal, who provided valuable insights into the challenges, opportunities, and best practices within the ship recycling industry. They were also given the opportunity to observe first-hand the ship dismantling operations and advanced technologies employed by the company to ensure operational efficiency and sustainability.
