EPIC Berhad hosted “EPIC Ignite: Empowering Skills, Inspiring Excellence” in conjunction with National Training Week (NTW) 2026 as a platform to strengthen talent development, cultivate a culture of lifelong learning, and enhance workforce capabilities in meeting the evolving needs of the industry.
Now in its second year, the programme is organised in strategic collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) Terengganu Office. This year's edition aims to engage 5,000 participants, comprising the Group’s employees and representatives from various external organisations.
The opening ceremony was officiated by EPIC Berhad Group Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili. Also present were, Head of HRD Corp Terengganu Office Head, Puan Nurain Othman; Acting Group Chief Financial Officer, Puan Suhana Kamaludin; as well as Human Resources and Administration General Manager, Haji Mohd Sukeri Muhammad.
A total of 25 training programmes have been curated, covering various areas of competency development with an emphasis on upskilling, reskilling and new skilling. These initiatives aim to ensure the workforce remains relevant in line with technological advancements and industry transformation, including the rapid growth of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
EPIC Berhad’s participation in NTW 2026 reflects the Group’s unwavering commitment to developing a highly skilled workforce through a sustainable and inclusive learning ecosystem. This initiative is aligned with the national agenda to nurture a competent workforce that is prepared to navigate the challenges of future industries.
