EPIC Berhad concluded the "Creative and Innovative Circle (CIC) 2023" programme held at the Darul Iman Training Centre (DITC) last week. The programme, spearheaded by the Department of Strategic, Performance, Planning, and Business Improvement, was launched in May 2023. It involved the participation of nine competing groups tasked with generating ideas and a working system aimed at cost savings through waste elimination and simultaneously enhancing efficiency in daily work through a simplified work process.

Representing the management as panellists in the programme were Group Human Resources and Administration General Manager Haji Mohd Sukeri Muhammad, Business Strategy, Performance, Planning, and Improvement General Manager Puan Mazlina Md Nor and General Manager EPIC OG Sdn Bhd (EOSGB) Haji Mohamad Irwan Abdul. Also present to support the programme were Group Chief Executive Officer Encik Ridzuan Ali, Group Chief Operating Officer Haji Muhtar Suhaili and Group Chief Financial Officer Encik Wan Azilah Wan Abdullah.

Three groups were selected as winners of the competition based on the established criteria. The third place was secured by “A Set” team with the topic "Company Personal Asset Tracking," while the second place was claimed by “Tenacious -E” team with the topic "E-Maintenance – Integrated System to Control All Maintenance Activities Efficiently." The first place was awarded to “The Landlord” team for their presentation on "Pengurusan Fasiliti Kafe dan Kantin PBKSB".

The company extends its highest appreciation to all participants involved in the programme and congratulates the winners. It is hoped that CIC 2023 will serve as a platform to enhance competitiveness, further improve human capital capabilities, explore new areas in the implementation of this initiative, and positively impact the company.
