EPIC Berhad, through its corporate social responsibility initiative, has donated RM100,000 to upgrade a 20-year-old ‘surau’ at Pantai Batu Buruk. The donation is intended to improve the overall infrastructure, including the ablution area and public toilets, to ensure user comfort, particularly for visitors to this tourist destination.

On-site to check on the ongoing construction work last week was Kuala Terengganu Parliament Member and EPIC Berhad Director YB Datuk Haji Ahmad Amzad Mohamed @ Hashim, accompanied by Group Chief Executive Officer Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili and Group Chief Financial Officer Encik Wan Mohd Azilah Wan Abdullah. The upgrading project, which began a month ago, is expected to be completed within two months.

This CSR initiative aims to improve the facility not only through financial support but also by encouraging users to responsibly maintain and care for the provided amenities.
