EPIC Berhad today continued the second series of its 'EPIC Back to School 2024' programme, this time to assist 50 less fortunate students in Kuala Terengganu. The programme which took place at Raia Hotel Terengganu involved selected students from seven primary schools, namely SK Pusat Chabang Tiga, SK Paloh, SK Wakaf Mempelam, SK Durian Burung, SK Rengas Bekah, SK Pulau Rusa, and SK Bukit Losong.
In addition to receiving essential school supplies like vouchers for school uniforms and shoes, stationery, a lunch box, and a backpack, the selected students also have the opportunity to participate in various interactive activities organised by the company.
Kuala Terengganu Parliament member and EPIC Berhad Director YB Datuk Haji Ahmad Amzad Hashim who was present at the ceremony commended the EPIC Berhad's efforts in organising such a program, acknowledging the Group’s commitment to ensuring less fortunate students do not miss out on preparations in facing new school term.
Also in attendance were EPIC Group Chief Operating Officer Haji Muhtar Suhaili, EPIC Group Chief Financial Officer Encik Wan Mohd Azilah Wan Abdullah, EPIC Group Corporate Communication and Security General Manager Encik Rusdi Ngah, representatives from the District Education Office; school principals as well as representatives from the Persatuan Ibu Bapa dan Guru (PIBG) of participating schools.
