Concerned about the difficulties faced by patients from less privileged backgrounds in accessing treatment at private hospitals. EPIC Berhad has taken a step forward by becoming one of the Gold Sponsors of the “Program Infaq Tabung Kebajikan Pesakit Hospital” (TKPH) at Hospital Pengajar Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (HPUniSZA). The TKPH initiative is a platform aimed at increasing fund generation targeting individuals, local communities, and employees of companies in Terengganu classified under the B40 category.

The sponsorship was officiated today at Hospital Sultan Zainal Abidin (HoSZA) by EPIC Group Chief Executive Officer Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili to YBhg. Professor Dato' Dr. Fadzli Adam, Vice-Chancellor of UniSZA, witnessed by His Royal Highness Al-Wathiqu Billah Al-Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah. His Majesty also graciously inaugurated the Sultan Zainal Abidin Hospital (HoSZA) in conjunction with His Royal Highness’ 62nd birthday on 26th April 2024. Also present at the ceremony were Menteri Besar Terengganu Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar and the Deputy Minister of Higher Education Datuk Ts. Mustapha Sakmud.
