EPIC Berhad concluded its 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) chaired by its Chairman YAB Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar who is also the Menteri Besar of Terengganu. All resolutions were approved by the attending shareholders.
At the AGM, EPIC Berhad announced its audited financial results for the financial year ended 31 December 2022 (FY2022). For FY2022, the Group recorded a revenue of RM343.1 million, a 17% increase compared to RM292.2 million in the financial year ended 31 December 2021 (FY2021).
On top of that, EPIC Berhad also registered an increase in profit after tax (PAT), RM3.9 million compared to RM2.8 million in the previous year.
For the financial year ended 31 December 2023 (FY2023), the Group is targeting a revenue of RM387.2 million, a 13% increase compared to the FY2022 figure. With a higher revenue target, the profit before tax (PBT) is projected to increase by 14%, from RM21.7 million to RM24.7 million, while the PAT is estimated to more than double or increase by over 100% to RM9.3 million compared to RM3.9 million clocked in FY2022.
