East Coast Energy (ECE) 2025 officially concluded yesterday at the Taman Tamadun Islam Convention Centre in Kuala Terengganu, marking the successful close of its inaugural edition. The 2-day event brought together more than 1,400 delegates from diverse backgrounds including policymakers, global energy leaders, investors, and the local community, positioning itself as a strategic platform for cross-sector collaboration towards a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient energy future.

Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili, Group Chief Executive Officer of EPIC Berhad, was also invited to share his insights as a panellist in a forum titled “Energising East Coast: The Role of Energy in Economic Growth, Job Opportunity and Sustainability”, The session offered valuable perspectives on how the energy sector plays a vital role in driving economic development, creating employment opportunities, and advancing sustainable growth, particularly in Malaysia’s East Coast region.
