REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess at least a recognised Diploma or certification in Occupational Health and Safety or in related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and practices, including onshore and offshore safety protocols.
- Familiarity with hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
- Obtained a Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) and Certification in Offshore safety (e.g., BOSIET)
- Possess strong communication and organisational skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments for onshore and offshore operations.
- Identify potential hazards, recommend preventive measures, and enforce corrective actions.
- Organise safety training and toolbox talks to promote a strong safety culture among employees.
- Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of safety activities, including audits, inspections, and training.
- Act as the primary point of contact for HSE matters on-site and liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
