REQUIREMENTS:

1. Possess at least a recognised Diploma or certification in Occupational Health and Safety or in related fields.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
3. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and practices, including onshore and offshore safety protocols.
4. Familiarity with hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
5. Obtained a Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) and Certification in Offshore safety (e.g., BOSIET)
6. Possess strong communication and organisational skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe working environment.
2. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments for onshore and offshore operations.
3. Identify potential hazards, recommend preventive measures, and enforce corrective actions.
4. Organise safety training and toolbox talks to promote a strong safety culture among employees.
5. Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
6. Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations and standards.
7. Maintain accurate records of safety activities, including audits, inspections, and training.
8. Act as the primary point of contact for HSE matters on-site and liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
