EPIC Berhad proudly unveiled the upgraded Pantai Batu Buruk Surau, now officially open to the public. Over the past few months, dedicated efforts led by Konsortium Pelabuhan Kemaman Sdn Bhd (KPKSB) have transformed this sacred space, culminating in a key handover ceremony at the facility itself.

Group Chief Executive Officer Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili had the honor of presenting the keys to Terengganu Information, Preaching and Syariah Empowerment Committee Chairman and Batu Buruk ADUN YB Dr. Ustaz Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi. Also, in attendance to witness this occasion was Kuala Terengganu Parliament Member and EPIC Berhad Director, YB Datuk Haji Ahmad Amzad Mohamed @ Hashim.

With a substantial investment of RM116,000 dedicated to enhancing the overall infrastructure, including the ablution area and public toilets, this upgrade ensures comfort for all users, particularly for visitors to this tourist destination. The "surau" will now be maintained by the Pusat Khidmat Masyarakat DUN Batu Buruk and Batu Buruk JPKK.
