EPIC hosted the Ziarah Kasih 2023 programme, visiting Puan Nor Haida Md Nor - a former employee of the Group. Puan Haida worked with EPIC as an Account Executive for four years, starting in 2015 and ending her tenure in 2019. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer in June 2022 and is now battling stage four of the said disease. Due to her worsening condition, Puan Haida is not able to resume her small business, thus losing her main source of income to care for her five kids, aged 14, 11, 6, 5, and 3.

In view of her ongoing brave battle, EPIC led by its Group Strategic Communication and Security General Manager Encik Rusdi Ngah, Group Human Resources and Administration General Manager Encik Mohd Sukeri Muhammad, Group Legal and Secretarial General Manager Puan Fairuz Idris, alongside a few volunteering employees, made a stop at her residence to check on her well-being and health progress. It was indeed a heartwarming visit as they exchanged stories and extended words of encouragement. The Group also made a small contribution to Puan Haida in the hope of easing the burden faced by both her and her family.
