The month of October returns with the symbol of the pink ribbon, a mark of solidarity for breast cancer warriors around the world. In support of this cause, EPIC Berhad earlier this morning organised the “EPIC Pinktober Care 2025” programme at the Day Care Surgical Ward of Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah (HSNZ).

At the programme, the Group’s team of volunteers had the opportunity to connect with breast cancer patients, distributing gifts and cupcakes as tokens of support and encouragement in their fight against the disease. Healthcare personnel including nurses, doctors, and frontline staff were also celebrated for their unwavering dedication and vital role in the patients’ healing journey.

As part of the initiative, EPIC Berhad also contributed to the Terengganu Surgical Club (KESTER) in support of its ongoing efforts to raise awareness about breast cancer. The contribution was presented by Corporate Communication and HSSEQ General Manager Encik Rusdi Ngah to Breast and Endocrine Surgeon Consultant Dr. Hussain Mohamad, witnessed by Senior Chief Assistant Medical Director Dr. Dzawati Amalin Basemin, Head of General Surgery Department Dr. Mohd Fadliyazid Abd Rahim, and General Surgeon Dr. Yusri Rahimi Jusoh @ Mohd Yusof.
