EPIC Berhad today organised the EPIC Raikan Senyuman 2025 programme with approximately 30 autistic children at Pusat Autisme Sejahtera Terengganu, as part of the Group’s commitment to supporting community development and raising awareness on the needs of children with autism.
A variety of interactive activities were conducted, including structured games, sensory stimulation exercises, and light guided-learning sessions. These activities were specially designed to support communication development, motor skills, and focus among the children. Alongside these engaging activities and token gifts, the children also enjoyed Marrybrown lunch boxes specially sponsored by the Group to add to the joy of the day. Parents and guardians were present throughout the event, contributing to the supportive atmosphere.
EPIC Berhad also presented a contribution to Pusat Autisme Sejahtera Terengganu as a show of support for the centre’s ongoing efforts to nurture and provide a conducive learning environment for autistic children. The company hopes to continue this collaboration through more beneficial programmes in the future, especially those that raise public awareness of autism and provide support to families and caregivers.
With Terengganu expected to face the monsoon flood season soon, EPIC Berhad has also reaffirmed its commitment to participating in humanitarian relief efforts for affected communities. So far, the Group has allocated more than RM100,000 for various flood aid initiatives, including essential supplies, volunteer support, and other forms of assistance based on current needs.
Both today’s programme and the flood preparedness initiatives form part of the RM2.8 million allocated by EPIC Berhad for CSR efforts throughout the year, covering key areas such as education, community welfare, sports, social development, and humanitarian aid.
