EPIC Berhad hosted the first edition of its “EPIC Back to School 2025” programme, benefiting 100 underprivileged pupils from four constituencies within the Kuala Terengganu Parliament, namely DUN Wakaf Mempelam, DUN Bandar, DUN Ladang, and DUN Batu Buruk. The programme, held at the Terengganu Science & Creativity Center (PSKT), was officiated by Kuala Terengganu Parliament Member, YB Datuk Haji Ahmad Amzad Mohamed @ Hashim.

“EPIC Back to School” is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at providing essential school supplies to underprivileged pupils, easing the burden on their families, and supporting them in preparing for the new school year.

Group Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili, in his speech, shared that the initiative is a cornerstone of the company’s annual CSR efforts. He further highlighted that this year’s programme has been significantly expanded to include 300 recipients from six constituencies; four in Kuala Terengganu as well as DUN Kijal and DUN Jabi, marking a significant increase from last year’s 100 recipients. In addition to receiving vouchers, the selected pupils were also treated to a tour of the exhibition gallery at PSKT and participated in various interactive activities there.

YB Datuk Haji Ahmad Amzad commended EPIC Berhad for its dedication to empowering underprivileged pupils through this initiative. He noted that such an initiative plays a crucial role in ensuring no child is left behind in accessing the education they deserve.
