EPIC Berhad continues its commitment to corporate social responsibility by hosting the Jalinan Kasih Ramadan programme, an annual initiative dedicated to supporting those in need while fostering the spirit of togetherness during Ramadan. This year, the programme extends its reach to 170 asnaf children from the districts of Kemaman and Kuala Terengganu, with a total allocation of RM60,000.

The first edition of the programme unfolded yesterday with a memorable experience for 100 asnaf children from four constituencies within the Kuala Terengganu Parliament. The day began with a shopping trip to Pacific Departmental Store, KTCC Mall, where the children selected new attire in preparation for Hari Raya Aidilfitri, followed by an iftar gathering at Raia Hotel Terengganu.

This event also featured the handover of duit raya to asnaf children by Kuala Terengganu Parliament Member, YB Datuk Haji Ahmad Amzad Mohamed @ Hashim, alongside EPIC Berhad Group Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ts. Haji Muhtar Suhaili, Group Chief Financial Officer, Encik Wan Mohd Azilah Wan Abdullah, and PETRONAS Head of Quality Assurance (Enterprise Quality), Project Delivery & Technology, Haji Mohd Zamri Abdul Ghani.

Also in attendance were EPIC Berhad’s management team, representatives from the Pejabat Parlimen Kuala Terengganu, as well as delegates from the Pejabat DUN Wakaf Mempelam, Bandar, Ladang, and Batu Buruk.

As a company deeply committed to the well-being of the community, EPIC Berhad has allocated over RM160,000 towards CSR initiatives and engagements with employees and the community throughout Ramadan.
