Orphans of the Kuala Terengganu District and Eastern Pacific Industrial Corporation Berhad celebrated the engagement of 100 orphans in the EPIC Ramadan Charity programme.

The events on the schedule include breaking the fast and getting new clothing for Hari Raya. This is the third year that the EPIC Group has run this programme as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to help and celebrate orphans who are preparing to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
The Kuala Terengganu Member of Parliament Office and the Jakel Textile Store, who have collaborated on this programme from its inception, are this year's partners.

The programme was held at the Jakel Textile Store in Gong Badak, Kuala Nerus, and the Primula Hotel in Kuala Terengganu. Kuala Terengganu Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, YB Datuk Haji Ahmad Amzad bin Hashim, also participated.

Encik Ridzuan bin Ali, Chief Executive Officer of the EPIC Group, says that this initiative will increase appreciation for the blessings that all Muslims should be grateful for among all those engaged. He also urged everyone to work together to make this Ramadan a month in which they learn to always provide a kind hand to those in need and their fellow Muslims.

The success of this initiative is very encouraging to EPIC Berhad, which also hopes that the money donated would make it easier for the families of the children to help with the preparations for the upcoming Aidilfitiri.
