Encik Saabi bin Wahab

Encik Saabi bin Wahab was appointed as the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of EPIC Berhad in April 2019. He is a seasoned executive with extensive upstream oil and gas experience in several large international organizations including PTTEP Hong Kong Offshore, Hess Exploration & Production B.V., Lundin Petroleum B.V. and Talisman Malaysia Limited.

He has over 30 years of experience in Project Management, Operations, Planning, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering and Health, Safety & Environment. Additionally, he also gained experience in Marine Operations, Assurance, Legislation and Security.

Encik Saabi holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Safety Management and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (Honours) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Tuan Haji Mohd Shamsol Bahrin bin Mohd Kamil

Tuan Haji Mohd Shamsol Bahrin bin Mohd Kamil is the Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO) of EPIC Berhad. He has been with EPIC Berhad since 1997, where his first post was as Operation Manager of Pangkalan Bekalan Kemaman Sdn. Bhd. before he rose through the ranks.

Prior to joining EPIC, he was attached to the Marine Department of Malaysia from 1984 to 1996. His last post was as Deputy Director, where he was responsible in managing the Port & Seamen Affairs Division and Dredging & Hydrographic Survey Division.

He has over 30 years of experience in marine and port activities with the last 20 years concentrated heavily in marine and port management. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nautical Studies from Liverpool Polytechnic, England (now known as Liverpool John Moores University).

 


Group Chief Strategic Officer (GCSO)

Encik Noor Tuah bin Jaafar

Encik Noor Tuah bin Jaafar joined EPIC Berhad as the Group Chief Strategic Officer (GCSO) in May 2019. He is responsible for overseeing the Corporate and Operational strategic initiatives including value creation, business performance, improvement, development and supporting the Group CEO on the company’s strategic planning overall. He is also a member of Technical Working Group (TWG) of Terengganu Petroleum Council (TPC) and subsequently serves as interim management for TI Petroleum Sdn. Bhd. (TIP).

He has over 25 years of experience working in the Oil & Gas and Energy industries. A practising engineer with a strong operations background, he has expertise in the area of corporate strategy and integrated planning with specialization in Plant Control & Automation Systems. Encik Noor Tuah spends most of his career with Puncak Niaga Holdings, Sirim-Sime JV, Sarawak Shell Berhad and Hess Malaysia B.V. before moving to EPIC Berhad in 2019.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical & Electronic from University of Surrey, United Kingdom.

Encik Wan Mohd Azilah bin Wan Abdullah

Encik Wan Mohd Azilah bin Wan Abdullah joined EPIC Berhad in August 2019 as Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO). He is responsible for overseeing the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the finance functions across the EPIC Group. In addition, he is also responsible for overseeing Group Human Resources and Admin, Group Supply Chain Management and Group Legal and Company Secretarial functions.

En. Wan has more than 20 years working experience as an accountant and a finance professional in Oil and Gas and Plantation sectors. His career began with Shell Malaysia, where he served for 19 years in various financial management roles in Downstream, Upstream and Group Internal Audit. Prior to joining EPIC Berhad, he served FELCRA Berhad for 4 years in several Senior Management portfolios in Investment, Internal Audit and Risk Management.

En. Wan holds a Bachelor of Accounting Degree from International Islamic University Malaysia. He is a Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and an Associate Member of Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia (IIAM).
