The 2008 Financial Year is filled with challenges which will provide plenty of opportunities for the EPIC Group. Our Chairman Y.B. Dato' Mohamed bin Awang Tera with the Board of Directors have already set the direction and course to be steered by all companies and subsidiaries.

It is worth noting that the Government's development plans under the East Coast Economic Region puts the EPIC Group right in the thick of things. The business opportunities are there for us and pursuing them requires full commitment from everyone.

The EPIC Group already has a firm base from which to operate. Previous corporate exercises including acquisitions have put us in a better position to participate in other businesses in the oil and gas exploration services sector.

We are also looking forward to greater activities at the Teluk Kalong industrial hub that will translate to higher volumes for various services operated by EPIC Group.

The Oil and Gas Business of the Group is already buoyed by the increase in the offshore activities off the coast of Terengganu and beyond. This is a result of the higher oil price that have continually exceeded USD100 per barrel. We hope to continue to take advantage of this by enhancing the services that we provide to our clients. We will continue to leverage on our established subsidiaries and increase the serviceswe offer especially to the oil and gas industry and beyond. The EPIC Group will endeavour to expand our services outside Malaysia while continuing to strengthen our capabilities locally.
Learning from past experience, we will not go-it-alone but rather look to form strategic collaborations with our various existing partners and other suitable companies, locally and beyond.We will draw on our extensive experience in the oil and gas and logistic industry, significantly enhancing our planned pursuit for greater presence and participation in the oil and gas industries.
Indeed, the EPIC Group now has a stable of companies that provides the synergy and impetus towards growth. For the oil and gas and logistics industry; we offer an array of services for our clients and partners. We now offer such services such as the highly established petroleum logistics and port management services; tubular threading and running; sludge management services; minor and major fabrication; plant shutdown and maintenance. A significant development is the establishment of a vessel repair and maintenance hub at Pulau Kuching in Kemaman with the capability to cater for major fabrication.


We are very excited by the prospect of additional volumes from the Kemaman Bitumen Company when the new Liquid Chemical Berth comes on line towards the beginning of the Fourth Quarter 2008.
	We are further anticipating enhanced volumes coming from the increasing demands of present and prospective clients especially from the Teluk Kalong Industrial Hub. The plan to establish a Free Trade Zone as part of the East Coast Economic Region Master Plan will help to further boost volumes and earnings towards greater heights.

In the ICT industry EPICT is expected to continue its entry in the animation industry to spearhead the State of Terengganu's drive to be a premier animation hub for the region. At the same time as well they are also expected to participate in the State's initiative to provide networking and broadband services locally.
